Luke with his latest book 'Secret Theatre'

During the summer hols I met up with an exciting new author, Luke Temple.

Luke decided some time ago that he would like to write children’s books and, like myself, he is passionate about getting into schools and bringing his books to life…inspiring others to read, write and to generally be creative in using their imagination. Is it any wonder that the two of us get on!

Luke’s debut novel, ‘Stormy Cliff”,  published by Penpress, got him off to a good start and was well-received in schools – Luke dresses up as a pirate and thoroughly entertains his audience. He has recently brought out his second book, ‘The Secret Theatre’, again published by Penpress, and is optimistic that this book will continue to establish his fast-growing reputation as a new and exciting children’s author.

You can check Luke out on his ‘brill’ websites:    www.thistlewick.net   or www.luketemple.co.uk  (more for teachers, bookings etc)

I’m looking forward to keeping in touch with Luke and wish him deserved success for the future.

Hi. There are numerous tricks and techniques for mapping out your story so which you will not get lost or draw a blank within the middle. On my web site, I have posted a workshop I conducted at a writing conference that deals with this topic. It’s free of charge, and it covers 1 method for obtaining an idea, developing the story, mapping out the details, and then composing the entire point. It is entitled “The Brute Force & Ignorance Approach”, and it’s under the “For Writers” section in my website, http://www.vincenthoneil.com. I hope it helps.

My developer is trying to convince me to move to .net from PHP. I have always disliked the idea because of the expenses. But he’s tryiong none the less. I’ve been using WordPress on various websites for about a year and am concerned about switching to another platform. I have heard great things about blogengine.net. Is there a way I can import all my wordpress content into it? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Markus I get your drift on where you were going there. I often think of my past and use it as a means to analyze where I am and where I want to get to. Where I struggel is balancing it all out. How do you guys balance things out?
